| 1. Hold board in place against upper window frame, with wide side of board up; align front of treatment with front edge of frame. |  |
| 2. Secure the board using round-headed screws. |  |
| 3. Secure awning cleat into window frame or wall. When shade is raised, wrap the cord around awning cleat. |  |
HOW TO INSTALL AN OUTSIDE-MOUNTED BOARD |
| 1. Hold board at desired placement, making sure it is level; mark the screw holes on wall or window frame. |  |
| 2. Remove angle irons from board |  |
| 3. Secure angles irons to wall using screws, into wall studs; if angle iron are not positioned at wall studs, use molly bolts or toggle anchors instead of screws. |  |
| 4. Reposition window treatment on angle irons, aligning screw holes; fasten screws. |  |
| 5. Secure awning cleat into window frame or wall. When shade is raised, wrap the cord around awning cleat. |  |
